No one told us it was going to be this messy

Lila loves cereal. And sweet potatoes. And, apparently, her hand.

More Tripletfest 2009 video

I took another little bit of video once everyone had arrived. There are 5 sets of not-yet-crawling kids in the middle, and then near the end of the clip (upper-right) you can see the fully mobile veterans of the group. All in all there were 6 sets of trips and 4 older siblings. Thank you so much to our hosts for letting us invade your home. We had a great time seeing all of you and comparing stories!! Oh, and in case you couldn't tell (I can't imagine why...), the Perrys are in the lower-left.

Triplet gathering

This video only shows about half the kids in attendance.

6 Month Weigh in

I can not believe the babies are over 6 months old. We had our 6 month check up and the babies got measured, weighed, and of course some shots too. Not surprisingly Brandon is the largest.... and to believe he was the smallest at birth. He is over 5 times what he weighed at birth!
Brandon - 16.2 lbs
Lila - 14.8 lbs
Alex - 14.8 lbs
Mommy - um, we won't post that here, but I am back at weight watchers :)

I guess this is what my kitchen is going to look like for awhile.

We all saw the video and know Brandon like his first taste of food :)

Alex was not a big fan, we will have to work on this.
Um, Daddy what is this strange stuff..... I want Ice Cream!!!

What a fun 4th!

We had a great 4th with many visitors/helpers around. Grandmom Deb, Charlie, Uncle Brad, Aunt Alyssa and Aunt Nancy all came from sunny Florida to rainy Indy to celebrate. Also, Aunt Jaime, Uncle Stan, The Pugs Millie and Gertie, and Cousin Mara came from Chicago. Don't worry, they did not all stay with us... just most of them :-) We are sad to see all the help go... we love having our family around. Plus, Grandmom Deb did ALL our laundry, and that is a lot!

Alex Bear loves Aunt Nancy.

Grandmom Deb and a semi-naked Brandon.

Aunt Jaime and Lila are pretty in pink.

Cousin Mara and Alex Bear.

Uncle Brad and Alex snuggling. Looks like Alex got held the most... probably because he spits up the least.

Oh, and there were cupcakes. I have been getting a lot of questions about the cupcakes and how I find the time. All I can say is I find it completing relaxing and a good way for me to wind down. Typically the cupcakes are baked, frosted and decorated on separate nights by a tired Mommy after the trips are down for the night. Anyhow, I have a nice burn on my arm from this last batch. Ouch.
